Linda Heslop

Inspired by the natural scenery of her home in Victoria on Vancouver Island, Linda Heslop paints with detailed realism.  Linda moved here from Scotland at the age of eight and now lives with her husband.  Linda Heslop paints mainly in watercolors adding highlights of water pencils to add depth to her starfish and tidal pools.  Linda often looks beneath the surface, in hidden places for her subject matter, inviting the viewer of her paintings to glimpse deep into caves or see the treasures secreted in tidal pools.  She has had international acclaim for twenty years for her award-winning cave art, and her book “The Art of Caving”, along with her paintings, which are in collections worldwide.
